Placido Costanzi - Rome

The painting on canvas is located in the right-side transept inside the SS. Andrea and Claudio dei Borgognoni Church in Rome. Made in 1739 it represents “S.Claudio who entrusts the citizens of Franche-Comté to S.Carlo Borromeo”. The complete restoration of the painting was carried out as part of the general restoration of all the decorated surfaces of the interior of the Church carried out between 2022 and 2025 (currently being published).
